It's almost here

The end of the Semester is officially here...it's time for last minute projects, papers, and finals... :( Nobody likes finals. I really did enjoy this class, if it wasn't for this class then I probably would have NEVER started a blog...ever! lol... just because I didn't know how...but that's not a problem anymore...I have a wonderful semester!!!

FINALS

Well...school's almost out...I have a stressful 2 weeks left...this week and Finals next. It seems like almost every professor decided to load me with everything possible to do....AND STUDY FOR FINALS!!! It's crazy I tell you...I just have to think that if I make it through these next few weeks then I get to relax for a little while and actually enjoy the sun agaiN! lol

Presentation

Today I gave my presentation over my webpages. Yess...I was the one in the suit! lol, it worked out good actually..I had another presentation in a different class, so I just gave both presentations on the same day...badda boom badda bing...both knocked out at once! ha ha..I think it went well and I hope everyone enjoyed it and learned a little bit more about me!

I really liked my page...and YES...I AM proud of it!

Friday

Well...the time is almost here. On friday our webpages are due..I'm almost done, but it's been taking a lot longer than I thought it would. I'm doing mine on the people that mean the most to me...my family, friends...and of course my boyfriend!!! I hope everyone likes the finished product

My Birthday

I just wanted to say that I had a wonderful 21st this past Saturday...it was my golden birthday...I turned 21 on the 21st. And let me tell you...it was amazing, well what I remember of it anyway. But today I had to go back to classes...boo, nah i'm just kidding!!

Presentation

Today I gave my presentation on my blog. People seemed to enjoy it, but then again I do have a tendency to ramble on..and on...and on! lol

Today

Well, today I went to the career fair...but turns out that the only company I went to talk with decided not to show up...just my luck!~ All well, at least I have my reseume...there's a plus!

This week

Today, I turned in my book paper. I feel confident about it! Plus, I AM happy to say that I get to sleep in Wed. or at least for an extra hour, because we are ahead of schedule...or at least I am....yeah!!!

At last...done!

I finally have no more responsibilities for the rest of the weekend...cause I got my paper done!!!! I feel like a brick has been lifted off my shoulders...or however that saying goes...lol! But before I know it i'm gonna have to get up at 5:00am again and go back to school...ahhh, if only spring break could last forever!!! Now that WOULD be nice!

My Spring Break

Well, I just got back from Branson...where I vacationed for spring break! I had a blast...went fishing, played miniature golf, and lounged around! Since we were assigned to read a book and write a paper on it over spring break I chose to read it in my down time, which was mostly later in the night! I got the book read and now i'm off to the second step...writing the paper!

SPRING BREAK

That's right...Finally...it's here! I've been waiting all semester for a break! ha ha I won't be learning anything next week because of it...but i'm gonna try to get an example of that advanced table I promised!!!

I just don't know!

I still don't know about this Dreamweaver... I'm trying to follow along, but i keep getting lost, so I think I might just pass up the opportunity and continue on my own! Plus, I have to read a book for Spring Break now, don't know when i'm gonna fit it in, but I guess I have to..ahhhhh, so much to do and so little time!!!

Dreamweaver

Yesterday we tried out something new...Dreamweaver! I guess I'm just used to writing html now, because Dreamweaver confused me so so much!!! I'm not quite for sure if i'm gonna continue it because i'm so used to just writing all the coding myself...but we'll see...i'll give it a try!

Very Interesting...

Well, got my table's back from Monday, and I just had a little, tiny mistake...but it cost me the entire look of the table! So, quickly fixed it and moved on to the next project. That's right...NEXT project. It's an even more advanced table! I'll get you a Beth version of it soon!!

Wow!!

So, today we did, in deed, learn more advanced tables. We also had to turn in a little about what we covered today, to show that we learned the material well enough to move on to the next step. It was a little different than expected, but I got the hang of it by the time class was over!

Next Week

Today we looked over what we are going to be learning next week. Man-oh-man, did it look complicated too! It's advanced tables with pictures AND text! It'll be interesting to see how fast I can catch on...but i'm still excited about it, since I am the one who always asked, "When are we gonna learn tables?"

Tables

Yes, I said tables! I was excited to learn tables...so that with luck I can change my blog to have 3 columns, instead of 2! So, wish me luck with that! lol. Once again, the html coding can be confusing. I forgot one " and that caused my table to not be the way I wanted it! But, I found my mistake, and I got the ball rolling with tables in html. With everything I've learned so far I can make quite an interesting page....i'm excited to try everything all on my own and see if I can do it right the first time...most likely i'll have some mistake that i'll have to go in and fix. But you can't always expect perfection! lol

Mid-Terms

Today we had our midterms. Even though I had everything, we had to download it from our flash drive to a floppy disc...this is where I ran into some trouble. You see, I had a disc, but I guess my disc had something wrong with it, because everything wouldn't fit. Thank goodness Dr.Young brought some discs in which I could get. And what do you know, everything fit!

It's Official.

Yes, it's true...I finally mastered the maps of html! And believe it or not...the littlest, itty-bitty, mistake could turn your webpage upside down. Every little detail has to be right in order for everything to be the way you want it!

Maps

Today in class, we learned all about maps. I learned how to connect different sites together with html. By the time class was over I was able to grasp the concept of being able to have my mapping site have the availability of clicking on the states on the US map and have a more detailed map of the state clicked on! Even though I ran into a few problems along the way, all-in-all it was very interesting.

So far...

A quick summary of what i've learned already in class: Well, i've been learning html. I can change color, fonts, and sizing of texts; background; pictures; links; and graphics. From notepad to html...it's so impressive how technology works!
